What do HOA assessment fees cover?

HOA assessment fees cover the maintenance of and upkeep of the front entance, community events, and HOA improvement projects.

How are violations of the covenant handled?

We have created a covenant violation handling procedure to set clear expectations of how a covenant violation will be handled. In short, the Board will attempt to contact the property owner in a non-official manner to make sure there isn’t an outstanding circumstance. If the board is unable to make contact or if the issue isn’t resolved in a timely manner official contact will be made via mail.

How do I apply to be on the board?

To hold a position on the board you must be a resident of the neighborhood. Unfortunately this means that if you are a rented that you are not able to hold a board position. HOLD ON! Before you click away. There are plenty of ways that you can help the Misty Glen community. Just email info@mityglenhoa.org and let us know that you are interested in helping out and we can find something for you to do.

Are HOA Board members paid?

HOA Board members and committee members are not paid for their services with the HOA. We believe that members of the HOA should give freely of their time in service to their community.

How can I help but not be on the board?

We are always looking for people to help out as there are is plenty that needs to get done. There are multiple committees that you can volunteer for.
